FAQs
When is the best time for this itinerary?
May to July, when the migration moves through the Western Serengeti and the Grumeti River country. That is the window this trip is built around.
Will we see the migration?
In season, yes — you follow the herds through the central and western Serengeti, and where the herds are, the predators are too.
Is this a private safari?
Yes. The vehicle, the guide and the itinerary are yours alone — you share the day with nobody outside your own party.
Do we go into the Ngorongoro Crater?
Yes. Day 8 is a game drive on the crater floor, looking for the Big Five, black rhino included.
Can the itinerary be changed?
Yes. Add nights, add a balloon flight over the Serengeti, fly between the parks rather than drive, or finish with a few days on Zanzibar. Tell us what you have in mind and we will redraft it.
