Mto wa Mbu, by Bicycle
The last morning is out of the vehicle. You cycle down to the shore of Lake Manyara on ground that is flat the whole way, so it suits most ages and most levels of fitness — and anyone who would rather not ride goes by tuk-tuk instead.
At the lake you walk the shoreline with a guide, where zebra, wildebeest, antelope, waterbuck and giraffe come down, along with a great deal of birdlife and, now and then, hippo.
Then a cultural morning in Mto wa Mbu itself — a plantation, how the farming works, and what daily life in the town looks like — and a tuk-tuk ride back through it before you carry on.
