Our Booking Process
Wondering how booking a safari works? Here it is, start to finish. Nothing is booked and nothing is charged until you have said yes to an itinerary.
- Tell us what you have in mind. Send us an enquiry with the trip you are thinking of — one of our itineraries or something of your own — along with your rough dates and how many of you are travelling. Email or WhatsApp works just as well.
- We draft it with you. A guide in Arusha replies within one working day with a draft itinerary, named lodges and a firm price. We adjust it with you by message, call or email until it is right.
- We check availability. We check the dates with the camps, lodges and any flights. Where everything is free we make provisional holds; where it is not, we suggest alternatives. Once you approve the itinerary, we finalise the reservations.
- Deposit. We send you an invoice and payment details for the deposit. The deposit is 10% for camping safaris and 40% for lodge safaris, and may be higher for luxury or custom itineraries.
- Confirmation. Once your deposit arrives, we send written confirmation of your booking. The balance is due on arrival.
