Every day here is private — your own guide and your own vehicle — so the order holds but the hours are yours to move.
You are met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and driven to Gran Meliá Arusha.
The evening is yours to recover from the flight in. The safari starts in the morning.

After breakfast you transfer to Arusha Airport for the scheduled bush flight north.
Your guide meets you on arrival and the first game drive begins at the airstrip. In the migration season this is the country of the big herds of wildebeest and zebra and the Mara River crossing points.

A morning game drive in the north, then the long run south through the Serengeti, which is a game drive in its own right.
You carry on exploring once you reach the central Serengeti, and finish at Meliá Serengeti Lodge.

A morning game drive on the central plains, looking for the predators, the elephants and the giraffe.
Then on through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the open plains give way to the highlands, to Lion’s Paw Camp and an early start on the crater tomorrow.

An early breakfast and down onto the crater floor for a Big Five game drive — lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo and the endangered black rhino among them.
Afterwards you drive on to Lemala Mpingo Ridge, which looks out over Tarangire.

A last game drive in Tarangire, following the Tarangire River among the elephant herds and the old baobabs.
Then the road to Kilimanjaro International Airport and your onward flight.
