FAQs

When is the best time to follow the migration?
July to October, when the herds reach the northern Serengeti and the Mara River crossings are at their height.
Is Lake Natron worth the detour?
Yes. Volcanic country, flamingo breeding grounds in season, waterfalls, and Ol Doinyo Lengai over all of it — there is nowhere else in Tanzania like it.
What cultural visits are included?
A morning with the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers and the Datoga blacksmiths at Lake Eyasi.
Will we see the Big Five?
The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the best places in Africa to see all five in a single game drive.
Can the itinerary be changed?
Yes. Stay longer in the Serengeti, add a balloon flight, or finish with a beach holiday on Zanzibar. Tell us what you have in mind and we will redraft it.
